There will be a meeting of the newly appointed City Reorganiztion Study Committee on Thursday January 26th, 2012. It will be held in the Cudahy Municipal Building 5050 South Lake Drive at 5:30 PM. The committee will be introduced at this meeting, and a discussion will be taking place regarding the possibility of our city switching from a full time Mayor to a part-time Mayor with the addition of a City Administrator post. It is open to the public accoring to a posting on the City web page and interested parties should attend. It has been speculted by some that Ryan McCue, the former Mayor who lost his bid for re-election is being looked at for the position of City Administrator by this group. If you want a voice in how your city should be run, you may wish to contact your alderpersons and let your thoughts about this process be known.
